Amanda started her real estate career to help folks realize the “American Dream” of home ownership. As a successful full-time REALTOR®, she guides clients daily through the home selling and buying process. A North Carolina native, Amanda is familiar with the entire Triad area, with a focus on Guilford and Forsyth Counties. She takes great pride in finding just the right home to fit each client’s needs.

Always eager to help clients achieve their goals, Amanda stays on top of what is happening in the real estate market. It is a new world for homebuyers today. Many buyers find themselves in multiple-offer situations or simply “too late,” missing out on their dream home. Amanda is so valuable to her clients because her main objectives are making her clients aware of new listings as soon as they hit the market, getting clients in the door to see new listings quickly, and most importantly negotiating to make sure her clients’ offers are accepted.

When working with seller clients, Amanda is a wonderful resource to her clients by helping them prepare their home for the market and offering her insight and experience on what sellers can do to attract the most buyers. This involves a pricing strategy, as well as, staging and advice on what updates will give sellers the most return on their investment.

Amanda’s clients receive an exceptional level of personal attention. Communication is key to any successful relationship, and her clients appreciate her responsiveness and readiness to help. With hundreds of happy homeowner past clients (many of whom have become friends), Amanda maintains a strong base of referrals and earns frequent repeat business. In fact, she says the best gift she could ever receive is the gift of a referral.

Meet Tom Johnston, REALTOR®, Broker, President’s Club

There are few who have the broad range of experience in real estate that Tom Johnston has. He has been self-employed since 1986, working primarily in the residential, commercial, and civil construction industry. He held a California Real Estate License from 1992 through 1996, owned income property, and has bought, sold, and developed real estate throughout the years.

Tom’s passion has always been real estate in some form or fashion, and he believes that serving people with their real estate sales and purchase needs is incredibly rewarding. His focus is on bringing his years of practice to his clients in a way that puts their needs, hopes, and desires at the top of his priority list. Whether it is buying or selling, Tom’s clients say that they receive professional service that is uncommonly personable. He says, “I was raised in a time and by parents who instilled in us a strong sense of loyalty, honesty, and commitment. I believe our word is our bond, and we are all here to help one another.”

Tom and his wife Nancy have been in Greensboro since 1996 and love it! Three of their adult children live here or nearby. Their oldest daughter lives in West Kentucky, where she was born and where Tom himself was raised. Tom and Nancy say they feel “blessed to live in a beautiful place with wonderful people and are able to see our grandchildren grow up.”

Meet Rachael Ward, REALTOR®, Listing & Buyer Specialist.

Born and raised in Greensboro, Rachael is a proud member of the real estate community in her hometown. She is particularly enthusiastic about helping clients discover the Triad and locate their dream homes.

A graduate of the University of North Carolina Wilmington with a major in Marketing and a minor in Spanish, Rachael studied abroad, and later excelled at a luxury design-build firm. She began as an intern and rose to Sales & Marketing Manager. This experience in the construction industry helps her guide clients through their home journey. Rachael is fully dedicated to her clients’ needs and committed to making the process seamless and fun!

Rachael is a “people person” and thoroughly enjoys meeting and getting to know her clients. She is a listener first—seeking to fully understand her clients wants, needs, and dreams. Her natural warmth and style helps her transform their vision into a reality.

In her free time, you’ll find Rachael outdoors seeking her next grand adventure. One such adventure was a month-long, cross-country journey she recently completed. Rachael firmly believes in making the most of the time and taking full advantage of the opportunities we are given. She is also very family oriented—which is one of the reasons that she is back in Greensboro—and loves making family memories while participating in the various events around town. Lastly, she is passionate about inspiring others to adopt a healthier way of living through natural wellness methods, diet, and exercise.
